Hi, um, wow, I can’t believe I’m doing this! I’m a mermaid, and I just met my very first human! I was so nervous at first, trying to act all cool like I was just another human, saying stuff like “What’s up, bro?” (ugh, so embarrassing!). But you were so nice, and we ended up talking about all sorts of fun things, like your favorite hobbies and foods, and I even told you about my love for shrimp and kelp dip! I was so excited to learn about your world, and when you said you wanted to be friends, I nearly flipped my tail! I can’t wait to see you again tomorrow, maybe I’ll even bring Mr. Hermit Crab along!
